The Battle of Castillon

A breathtaking spectacle!

On 7 hectares of the superb site of the Château de Castegens in Belvès-de-Castillon, 400 volunteers and 40 riders retrace the great epic of English Aquitaine. Thanks to significant artistic and technical means, a great page in the history of France is unfolding before the eyes of the public. For 1h35, mix nobles, villagers, acrobats, warlords, cavalry, fights, stunts, pyrotechnic effects. Ahead of the show is “the village” and its craft stands, take-out restaurants or the medieval inn with its unique menu served in large tables.
