Nestled on the banks of the Dronne River, our farm is located in the commune of Les Peintures, north of Libourne, in the beautiful Nouvelle Aquitaine region. Made up of pristine meadows, our location offers an idyllic setting for our agricultural enterprise.

Since 2019, Got's farm practices a loving approach to the land. Every egg, every chicken, a story. A commitment to quality, ethics, and respect for nature.

Coming from the health and catering sectors, we one day decided to drop everything for this adventure which is "  Got's Farm ».
We are not farmers, we are peasants, a new kind of peasant, wanting to resemble our ancestors, wanting to return to a culture of values. Our passion for nature and our desire to return to a simpler life were the driving forces behind the creation of our farm. This project was born from our love for nature and our desire to rediscover healthy and sustainable food. Agriculture is simply the means for us to do our bit to achieve this.

We adhere to animal and environmentally friendly breeding practices.

Our animals enjoy an open space and comfortable living conditions. We prioritize a natural and balanced diet, as well as careful veterinary monitoring to ensure their well-being.

Work in progress will allow us to carry out slaughter on the farm for better management of animal stress.

In 2023, we planted nearly 1000 trees to form hedges and fruit trees along the animal runs.

This action aims to promote biodiversity but also, it will allow the animals to make the most of the range available to them, providing them with shaded protection against the sun and predatory birds of prey, while enhancing their diet via the fruit trees, which will be enriched by the natural fertilizer that constitutes the animals' excrement, a virtuous circle.

Our animals

The adventure began in 2019 with only Lohmann laying hens, a breed that we discarded because, despite its very good laying disposition, we consider that the breed lacks hardiness and can only be managed in a breeding model that does not suit us.
not suitable, it was fragile at the slightest change.
Today, we are trying to bring in dual-purpose and/or rustic breeds that meet our expectations, which can be promoted, in order to contribute to the success of this project.
We therefore raise chickens of the Cou-nu, Susex, Marans, and soon Brahma breeds, guinea fowl, Muscovy ducks, geese and we are introducing Charmoise sheep in 2024.

Community and Partnership

We believe in the importance of building strong relationships with our community. We collaborate with other local farmers, restaurants, CSAs, and farmers' markets to promote local food and support the regional economy.

We belong to groups of various farmers and artisans. Whether for business purposes, mutual aid, or simply to network and stay informed, these groups are essential to us, in line with the world we want to build.
