First, the preparation of the ball, if you have the chance to attend, is impressive. The canvas, huge, spread out on the ground which takes its volume thanks to the air blown by means of large fans.
Already, at that moment, you become aware of the dimension.
Finally, comes the moment when you have to board the basket; beating heart you are ready, embarked, for an extraordinary journey. Slowly, gently, the balloon rises.
As you climb, the landscape unfolds under your feet: plots of land and various cultures, woods and forests several meters below you take shape.
Carried by the currents of air, higher and higher, the horizon line, over there in the distance, is profiled… grandiose… at sunrise or sunset.
Silence is imposed, interrupted by the blower which sends the hot air from the canisters into the balloon.
Everyone admires, is silent, goes into ecstasies.
Pilot since 1995, Francois Pont has more than thirty years of experience in various aerial activities: free flight, paragliding, ULM, glider and hot air balloon flight... He has acquired in-depth knowledge of mountain aerology during the many hot air balloon flights carried out in France, in the Pyrenees and in the Alps “montgolfiades”.
Very attentive to the well-being of its passengers, you are sure to have a wonderful time aboard its hot air balloon. You will fly over the landscapes of the Entre-deux-mers and the Libourne with its picturesque villages and its historic castles, as well as those of the vineyards, including the great wines, but also, according to the favorable winds, the marvelous river Dordogne. The malice of the balloonist will make you live a moment that is both magical and a bit deliciously disturbing as you get closer to the water.
Perhaps chance will allow you to fly over the tidal bore, this breaking wave which goes up the course of the river, on which many surfers and kayakers like to slide.
At the end of this wonderful moment of escape, a wine tasting will be offered to you and a flight diploma will be awarded!
