It was monks who, established in a convent, planted the first vines in the Middle Ages. The vineyard owes its name to the water current known as "La Perrière", from the word Pierrière which means stone quarries. The Château produces four wines in the commune of Lussac: La Rose Perrière, La Perrière Rouge, La Perrière Blanc and La Perrière Rosé; and a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru wine: Clos les Grandes Versannes.
The château opens its doors to you for a tour of its cellar, its vineyards, its tasting room and its 14-hectare gardens.
