In a setting with green hillsides, Château Richelieu, which once belonged to the family of Cardinal Richelieu, reveals the twists and turns of its history.
Today a 30-hectare property in organic farming, looking to the future, the Château Richelieu vineyard is made up of varied and hilly plots overlooking the Dordogne valley. Merlot (74%), Cabernet Franc (14%), Cabernet Sauvignon (9%), and Malbec (3%) are aged in French oak barrels which subtly underline the fruit and varietal flavor. It is with pleasure that the team of the castle will welcome you on a visit or during a stay in a guesthouse to make you discover a racy and unique wine available for sale directly at the property.
