A family and playful botanical garden.
The Jardin de la Lamproie, a 5000 m² botanical garden, is home to more than 400 species of waterside plants, arranged along a pebble path reminiscent of the sinuosity of the Dordogne.
Explanatory panels help you to appreciate this vegetation.
An exhibition room allows children to see lampreys, aquatic animals 450 million years old, in an aquarium and a documentary film. An educational trail in the form of sheets available at the Information Office addresses in a fun and educational way, different themes such as the water cycle, fishing, landscape...
The plus: in the heart of this wooded park, a picnic area awaits you for convivial family moments.
