Take to the skies!
Take on this 13th century dungeon! An emblematic architectural element of Saint-Emilion, it is today the center of Jurade celebrations.
Set foot on the places where the New Wine Judgment is proclaimed each year in June and the Ban des Vendanges in September.
From the roof of the building, the entire city offers itself to you to reward you for the 118 steps climbed.
This massive square keep, built in the XNUMXth century, remains steeped in mystery. We do not know the name of its sponsor and its role remains obscure: weapon of deterrence or symbol of power?
