The Saint-Symphorien church, which dates from the XNUMXth century, is a baroque-style building, built from plans by the architect Portier.
Its financing was made possible thanks to a bequest made to the city at the end of the XNUMXth century, by Henri de La Tour d'Auvergne, Marshal de Turenne (who was Viscount of Castillon).
The interior of the church reveals an Ionic decoration (style inspired by ancient Greece). The nave, made up of a semicircular vault, is illuminated by magnificent glasses.
One of the peculiarities of this building is to have, within its walls, a monument to the dead.
