Bastide of Libourne

Founded in 1270, Libourne is an English port bastide located at the confluence of the Isle and the Dordogne. It owes its prosperity mainly to the wine trade, but also wood and salt. Its wealth of heritage makes it a charming city with in particular its central square surrounded by arcades, its 600th century town hall, its quays...not to mention its unmissable market which has been held in the central square three times a week for XNUMX year ! It is one of the most prestigious in the region!
An essential place on the right bank of Bordeaux, Libourne has the privilege of being at the heart of the greatest vintages such as Bordeaux or Saint-Emilion.
