Saint Philippe d'Aiguille

This pleasant 4,3 km walk from Saint-Philippe-d'Aiguille will take you to the top of the hillside of Pey Landry and will take you through vineyards and forest.
1

Step 1

With your back to the church, turn right on the D123.
2

Step 2

Take the path further left after the town hall and the school between the 2 houses. Continue on the grassy path which descends then bends to the left.
3

Step 3

At the bottom, at the crossroads, turn right and walk along the tarmac road on the grass. Then continue on the side of the road between the trees to the stop sign.
4

Step 4

At the stop sign, for greater safety, cross to follow the road to the left in the large grass meadow. At the top, before the bend, cross the road again to climb the embankment opposite.
5

Step 5

At the top of the road, take the path to the left signposted “Bienvenue sur le coteau de Pey Landry”. Continue straight until you reach the megalith further.
6

Step 6

Leave the standing stone behind you on the right and continue down the descending path. Please note that there are no indications in the heart of this wooded area. You have to go down to the right to join the road below.
7

Step 7

Below, you can see the road. Go along it, keeping to the right.
8

Step 8

Finally join the paved road already taken, or walk in the vineyards along this road, at your convenience. Eventually find the intersection of point n°3 and take the same path as at the start, or go up the tarmacked street to reach the church above.
