It was in the village of Puynormand that a Flemish family decided in the 70s to transform an old feudal castle farm into a 16-hectare vineyard estate, Château Vilatte. Today, Stefaan Massart has embarked on sustainable viticulture and the development of rural heritage, such as the old bread oven from the XNUMXth century, which has been restored and is now in use again.
To help your children better understand the work of wine, push with them the door of the imposing barn transformed into an eco-museum. Tables illustrate in a very educational way "the cycle of wine from the ground to the glass". They discover with wonder old tools, presses, vats and wine pumps of yesteryear. Always with the family, take the 5 km botanical route punctuated with panels that describe around thirty plant varieties.
