Château Croix de Labrie is a 5,78 ha estate located in the heart of the AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, an appellation that inevitably brings to mind Burgundy with its mosaic of plots and producers.
The vineyard is worked by Axelle Courdurié from pruning to harvesting, then to vinification and ageing. Axelle, very attentive to detail, brings her feminine sensitivity to Croix de Labrie wines.
The plots are located in Badon, Saint-Sulpice and on the clay-limestone plateau in asteria of Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes next to our cellar (dating from 1687). The main grape variety of the property is Merlot (90%) but we also have a few rows of Cabernet Sauvignon (7%) and Cabernet Franc (3%).
In organic farming and biodynamics, the soils are worked, ploughing, pruning in double guyot.
