The 2023 edition of Montgolfiades will take place from October 20 to 22!
The idea of flying over Saint-Émilion in a hot air balloon is the fruit of a meeting between Guy-Petrus Lignac, owner of Château Guadet, Grand Cru Classé in Saint Emilion, Joëlle Manuel, Deputy Mayor, and Patricia Lamy, pilot and organizer of aerial events.
Born in 2011 and crowned with success for their first edition, the Montgolfiades have become one of the unmissable events of the year.
Every year, 15 hot air balloons gather during the third weekend of October to take off in Saint-Émilion, just after the harvest. Activities for young and old accompany these days of celebration such as workshops and demonstrations of kites and conferences.
A multitude of activities will complete the program for this weekend: model-making and kite-making workshop, photo exhibition, pirate balloons... and food trucks to eat! Other events will be added by October.
