For his 4rd edition, the Vintage Bike Tour of Sainte-Florence will leave on May 28 from the heart of the village between the hillsides and the river.
This event was born from the desire of the Sainte Florence Animations association to bring together the inhabitants of the town around festive and fun entertainment projects. Discovering the cultural, built and mineral heritage is an obvious part of this bike ride formula. Translated into a festive retro, with a pre- and post-war identity until the heyday with a highlighting of bicycles and outfits of yesteryear.
Coming from different regions, clubs as well as enthusiasts of old bikes or simply lovers of beautiful rides, all have engaged in a parade of the most elegant or offbeat.
Old bikes from beautiful collections or patched up for the day, Grand Bi, tandem, in a rural spirit the appointment was made, a real osmosis between style, frame, look for a fair balance embodied by femininity and virility highlighted for the occasion.
Immersed in another era, each in their own way and at their own pace was able to discover the wealth of heritage around three beautiful epics between hillsides and river.
To participate, all you need is a vintage touring, city or racing bicycle that is not equipped with handlebar gears and automatic pedals.
On May 28, 2023, 3 circuits are offered to you:
- La Familiale: 30 km circuit departing 9:30 a.m. from Sainte Florence
- Gédéon du Guidon: 50 km circuit starting at 9:15 a.m. from Sainte Florence
- By dancer: 60 km circuit starting at 9 a.m. from Sainte Florence
All day in the heart of the village, vintage stands (crafts and creations around the bike) and auto, motorcycle and vintage bike fairs, all to music with Hot Small Club.
